ESU Course 08: Advanced course on urethral stricture surgery

Aims and objectives: • To review the treatments available for urethral stricture disease • To detail the role of the treatments which are available for specific patient scenarios? • To provide a clearer understanding of the role of anastomotic and substitution urethroplasty in the management of urethral stricture disease • To outline the principles of the surgical management of patients with urethras that have been injured by trauma. Participants of the course will obtain a clear view on the current role of surgery for the management of urethral stenosis affecting both the anterior and posterior urethra in contemporary clinical practice.
