2008 American Urological Association Annual Meeting Webcasts

Accreditation: The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AUA takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.

Credit Designation: The American Urological Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of 42.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits®. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Overview/Statement of Need/Target Audience
Urologists need a thorough knowledge of the most recent developments and techniques in Urology to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this continuing medical education activity, participants should be able to:
• describe recent developments in the medical and surgical management of urology patients
• identify new technologies for treatment of urologic problems
• report new advances in urologic research
• outline the scope and extent of urologic disease as a component of overall health care and strategies to improve patient care.

This CME activity consists of a Web cast of live scientific presentations (plenary session and courses), which were recorded during the 2008 AUA Annual Meeting. To earn credit for each presentation, please view and listen to the full lecture and accompanying slide presentation, claim the credits you spent in the activity, and complete the evaluation.
