TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience for this initiative is urologists and medical oncologists caring for patients with prostate cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
Evaluate the clinical course and incidence of castration-resistant prostate cancer
Debate the definition and implications of castration levels of testosterone in patients with prostate cancer
Assess the role of the androgen receptor axis in prostate tumor biology and pathogenesis
Discuss the clinical implications of the results of clinical trials, including early phase trials, that have potential to impact the prostate tumor microenvironment
Discuss future treatment strategies and clinical trials for advancement of therapeutic progress in castration-resistant prostate cancer
